The raven haired girls walked along the street. Both laughing about the day they had at school. Enjoying every moment they spent together curing the other's loneliness. The younger girl named Kagome, tells the older girl about a young man she is quite interested in. While the older girl listens she thinks of how long its been since......
*Beep! Beep! Beep!* The alarm clock on Ariya's bedside table rang. She just woke from a dream of herself and her best friend Kagome. She missed her dearly. Ever since she entered High School, she hadn't been able to talk, see, or even DO anything with her.
"I hate you, you really mess up some of my favorite dreams." Ariya grumbled to her alarm.
"ARIYA!! Time for school!!" Ms. Rutoyura yelled at her daughter.
"Coming!!" She yelled back to her mother.
'I hate school, ever since Kagome and I were separated it's been so hard.' Ariya thought to herself. 'I hope she is doing alright. I know! I'll go over there after school!' She decided this was the thing to do and planned the rest of her day around it. Little did Ariya know she would be thrown back into the past five-hundred years.
Ariya finished preparing herself for school and ran to catch her bus. She made it through her school day fine. As soon as the dismissal bell rang she was out the doors with her bag full of books and schoolwork. She ran to the train station to catch the train to Kagome's home. She rode until the stop that put her a few blocks away. She ran to get to Kagome's home so she might be able to get to Kagome before she went off again to somewhere. She made it. She walked up the steps to the shrine which was the home of her friend. As she reached to knock on the door, she saw the head of raven hair walking to the small shack which held an old well. Growing up Kagome's grandfather had always told fictional stories about demons and priestesses from the past that would use that well to get ideas on how do help advance their culture by a few more years. Ariya mentally chuckled at the stories and how Kagome's grandfather said that it was "as true as you and I are in this room."
