Chapter One~ Not Another One~
"Man, doesn't anyone want to duel?" Katsuya Jonouchi yelled angrily. The others groaned and listened while he rattled on.
"What's the matter with these people? Are they afraid to duel me? Yeah, that's it! They're all just afraid of my perfect dueling skills!"
"Don't flatter yourself, Jonouchi." Hiroto Honda muttered.
"What was that, Honda?" Katsuya asked. Honda just smiled innocently. They heard vioces behind them and turned around.
It was a girl and a young boy. The girl was wearing a long red cape with black clothes underneath. She had shoulder length black hair
and blue eyes.She looked around Katsuya's age. The boy was maybe nine or ten and had short, spiky blonde hair. His eyes were an
olive green. Both were wearing duel disks.
"C'mon, Melody, when can I duel?" the little boy asked.
"When you find a suitable opponent for you," the girl, Melody, answered. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Yugi.
She looked him over. "Are you Yugi Mouto? You are, aren't you. Well, well, well, it seems that I finally have the pleasure of meeting.
My name's Melody-"
"Cool! I've never seen that card before, what's it's name?" The boy was standing beside of Katsuya staring at the cards he
was holding.
"What card is it?" Melody quickly walked over to look. "Oh. It's just Magic Jammer, you igit." she said to the boy.
"Are you a duelist?" Katsuya looked up at her. His mouth dropped and Melody raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"Wanna duel me?"
"I would love to, but I simply don't have time. I have to get back to my brothers. Bye!"she turned to look at Yugi."We will meet again, Yugi Mouto." Then she turned her back to them and walked away.
"See you later!" the little boy said and ran off to catch up to Melody.
She stopped fo a moment."Oh, yeah, " she tossed back, " I didn't tell you my name. It's Melody Kaiba.
