AN: I thought I'd try my hand at One Piece fan-fiction. I've only seen
episodes one through seventy-two so far, but I think I have a pretty clear
idea of everyone.enough for this short little ficlet anyway. So here it is!
Another Thief
She was being forced to confront her feelings. Why? Because Vivi had insisted that she had been behaving strangely lately. Nami hadn't really noticed it herself, until the princess had pointed it out.
And emotions were not something that Nami was fond of dealing with.
It wasn't that she was incapable of feeling.far from it in fact. She was just uncomfortable with expressing anything deeper than what was expected of her. And still, there was a part of her that did not want to get close to anyone for fear of losing them.like Bellemere.
But it was different this time.
Nami lifted her head at Sanji's approach. He had brought her a drink. When he left her, she allowed herself to roll her eyes. He would do anything for her...and all she had to do was snap her fingers.
She knew perfectly well what he wanted from her, from any pretty girl, and she was not interested. He was too easily manipulated, and didn't seem to care.
Care.
She did care deeply for him, but not in the way that he wanted her to.
She cared deeply for the others as well; they each had their own place in her heart. And someone, someone had taken her heart in whole. But who? And how? By blinding others to her true feelings she had blinded herself.
Usopp?
Nami chuckled and shook her head at the very idea.
Chopper?
She didn't even want to go there. But she was only going through a mental list of her nakama.
It wasn't Sanji.
Someone came bursting into the kitchen at that moment, screaming for meat. Nami was too used to this event to even look up as Luffy was quickly kicked in the head and dragged out of the kitchen by the 'luv cook' himself.
Luffy?
She smiled. Even though he drove her completely crazy most of the time, she loved him.in a way. But it wasn't Luffy that was haunting her.
Someone had stolen her heart without her even realizing who or when, or even how..but suddenly she knew as she heard a voice through the door.
She stood, slowly, shakily, and walked out on deck.
Roronoa Zoro was awake.
AN: So, what did you guys think? Please review. No flames though. Flames will be made to walk the plank.Anyway, just so everyone knows; this kind of takes place at no real particular point, just after Chopper has joined the group. I love Zoro/Nami. Nami/Luffy is good too. I have a website that I want people to submit stuff to, so check out my home page. (I also go as Aeris Deathscythe on ff.net as well, just so everyone knows). Review!!!
