Sorrow and love - fated for pain.
They ran through corridors,
Their breath came in short gasps.
And their muscles burned.
Destiny..
Cruelty and inequality - to be destined to die.
She stumbled and he braced her,
Dragging her after him.
Trying with all his soul to save their lives.
Hope...
Fragile and wishful - soon to be broken.
The sound of their pursuers echoed behind them.
Closer and closer they came.
And then they could run no more.
Despair....
Suffocating and heavy - pressed oppressively down.

Turning to look at their pursuers.
Then shots rang out.
Death..
Slowly settling around suddenly heavy limbs.
