Near the end of the Revolution,

He was part of the Sekihoutai.

A little brown haired boy,

Who was anything but shy.

Captain Sagara and the others,

were killed in cold blood,

In front of his eyes,

everyone he loved

With the symbol of bad

upon his back,

he became a fighter for higher

and a good one at that

He became a fighter

To forget his past

To forget his pain

even though it wouldn't last

Because in the moments of a fight,

He would forget everything

Even though it was brief

It was better than nothing.

But something strange happened,

When he was asked to fight some guy.

His eyes lit up when his opponent,

Was revealed as the Battousai.

The Battousai was,

The Imperialists strongest man,

Back during the Revolution,

When things were less than grand.

And it was the Imperialists,

Who killed them in cold blood,

Killed the Sekihoutai,

The people that he loved.

But something about this man,

Shook a memory from his mind.

He reminded him of Captain Sagara,

The way he acted so kind.

Was he really as bad,

As bad as he thought?

Could he really be,

The man he had sought?

That is why he travels with him.

To find the answers he seeks.

To learn learn the Battousais' true definition

Of protecting the weak.

So this is the beginning of the story,

Of the former member of the Sekihoutai.

The grown-up version of the brown haired boy,

Who was anything but shy.
