Jack Danvari took a deep breath as he let the scent of warm saltwater overtake him. How he loved the ocean. One day he would be the captain of his own ship, and sail the greats oceans till he died. Someday. For now he had to content himself with watching the ships move in and out of the harbor. From this particular hill, he could see the entire harbor, and watch the crews of those great ships scurrying about, making ready to either set sail or drop anchors. Jack sat on this hill everyday for hours, whenever he could get any free time from the stables where he worked. Jack had always had a fascination with ships. When he was only five, his family had sailed from England to Nassau where his father lived. For two years they had lived happily with his father as the first mate on a Corsair that had a storied history. The WINDRIDER was unbeatable. It had engaged enemy forces thirty-two times, and along with sinking twenty-seven spanish war-ships and capturing four treasure laden Galleons, the WINDRIDER had even engaged the famous SEA SERPENT, the former flagship of the pirate John Lemmon. Even the mighty SEA SERPENT was lying on the bottom now.
