Scars
They linger
Scars
They hold haunting memories
They say
That when scars are formed
With strong emotions behind them
That they will not fade 'til the feelings are gone
Yet mine will never fade
They will always taint my body and soul
Taunting with their memories
Bleeding in the dead of night
I know my soul will never be free
Free of those memories
They will always haunt me
Until the end of time
Hidden in my scars
