"Oath To Tobey"

Looking at myself

I'm reminded of my mother

My thoughts interrupted

By the screams of my brother

I tear through my room

And crash through the door

My looks turn to anger

As I fall to the floor

I stand up quickly

And confront the young child

Blue eyes steaming

His hair blond and wild

As I think to myself

You're nothing like me

If you knew what you wanted

You would wish to be free

And if you were mine

I'd free you right now

I'd ask them to take you

If I only knew how

As I lay you back down

And turn off the light

Your screams fill the room

Washed cold with the night

The lightening is fierce

And the rain is poring loud

They should take you away

I wish, right now!

I close the door in anger

I head back to my room

The quiet fear of silence

The moment filled with doom

I stop short in compliance

And turn towards your bed

There's a reason you're gone

It's something I said

With a jerk and a twist

I realize they're here

The goblins are laughing

The owl is near

My wish has come true

The goblin king is here

I must fix all my wrong

I must face my own fears

The goblin king laughs

Has he pity on me?

I must face his challenge

If we want to be free

I will save you dear Tobey

The Labyrinth is mine

I will take this great challenge

And work against time
