Revenant: (Noun)
1. One that returns after a lengthy absence.
2. One who returns after death.

She lays bent and broken, slumped against the cool wall. She leaks life- bright warm crimson.
It stains.
It hurts.
She tries to scream, to call for him but no sound can escape her ruby kissed lips.
Her breath hastens, becoming useless and shallow.
She knows it's coming. The dark fingers of death have clouded her vision and she blinks feeling a wave of euphoria.
There is no more pain. Not now, not anymore.
She has no worries. He will find her. He will mend her- bring her back.
She won't die.
She will live again.
She'll become the revenant.
