People say that angels last forever
That they never leave
But if that's true
Then why did he go?
Even for such a short time?
He died
I know our time is limited
That us ourselves must go
But
He was an earthbound angel
And angels don't die
As I sit here
Complaining about a death that never really happened
To a child who never really existed
But was an angel of fighters
Sent to rescue them
Who was conjured up from the bowels of a mans imagination
And he still died
He came back, it's true
But he still was dead
He was an angel
In my eyes
But the thing is…..
