The Little Things

Written by: Maria's Georg

Disclaimer: "Sound of Music" is owned by 20 century fox.however I'm just playing w/the characters. A/N: Inspired by a chat w/Mercedes.We had a conversation about my father's loud snoring (who reminds me of ol Georg), and it made me wonder.does Georg snore? And she suggested it as a Fanfic idea. I know I have no life, if I'm pondering whether slightly factious people snore. (I'm talking bout the film Georg.not the real one.) Esh! I need to stop this. I said slightly! Hope you like it! Just a little ditty!

"Naaahk!"

"Nah-"

Maria's eyes flickered open at the sound of her husband's loud snoring. She's been accustomed to Georg's rhythmic breathing, as he slept. It had lulled her to sleep. But the snoring had awoken her quite often. Just another little thing she'd have to get used to.

Fully awake, remnants of sleep fleeting her. She shifted towards her sleeping husband. A small smile forms upon her lips at the sight of her disheveled husband. His hair usually kept, now massively everywhere. A hand nestled warmly just underneath his head, resting firmly on top of his pillow.

His beautiful blue eyes Maria longed to see closed of from the world. Maria lay there, just watching her sleeping husband with a proud and happy smile. His breathing was even and she considered it pleasant to the loud snoring.

Picking herself off of the warm bed she bent slightly above Georg. Lightly kissing his exposed cheek. She moved to her robe which was draped upon a near by chair. Always waiting for her. Slipping it over her, she moved to the French doors connecting their private terrace.

She breathed in the fresh air, a joy to her lungs. The coolness surrounds her penetrating her skin. A welcoming feeling from the warm bed, which only served to make her hotter than she already, seemed to be. Moving to the edge of the terrace she looked out into the open night. Midnight blue all around her stars shown bright in the velvet sky. Rubbing the slight bump underneath her robe, she smiled.

A pair of arms wrapped themselves around Maria's round tummy, causing her to jump slightly. Georg chuckled. Still sleepy eyed.

An apprehensive breath escaped, as she immediately felt at ease. He begun to rub her belly, just as she had moments before. The feeling of life underneath your hands was something entirely special. Extraordinary in it's own right.

"What are you doing up?" Georg spoke as he pressed his nose into her hair, in haling the scent.

"I couldn't sleep."

"Something on your mind?"

"Oh, just life. I suppose."

After moments Maria spoke "Do you realize you snore?" Looking up at Georg. Georg flashed a dimpled smile.

"So I've been told." Smiling Maria rose to meet her husband's moist lips, in a lite kiss.

"I'm sure you have." Maria spoke as she their lips parted, and she rested her heavy head onto his shoulder.

"Let's go back to bed." He spoke in a slight whisper causing Maria to smile once more.
