The Stars

A/N: You are seeing a very rare experience. I'M writing a short thing. Surprising, huh? Yeah. I couldn't fight this urge.. So I'm gonna. Bear with me. Also, Sora's on the Gummi Ship. Remember that.

Disney's rights are their own. Mine is my own. Get it? xx;

~*And the (short. very short) story begins......*~

Sora rubbed his head sorrowfully. How could he have gotten himself into this mess? What was intwined in his heart so much, that a key- a keyblade, the most powerful thing he ever had, gotten into his hands. And according to his new friends, this keyblade was pretty important. Plus he was hanging out with walking- and talking- animals. The duck had a short temper, and well, the dog.. The dog was just kinda slow.

The Gummi Ship, as Donald, the duck, and Goofy, the dog said, was their transportation from one world to another. Sora, yes, was dazzled that there truly was other worlds. But that led him to something that caused him great emotional pain. If only he could tell Riku. Sora's strange dream- or nightmare, was coming true. He tried to shoo the thought away from his mind.

The boy was about to ask Donald if he had a girlfriend, but Donald was apparently asleep. Naturally, Sora's eyes drifted toward the friendly knight. He was deep in slumber too. Sora sat down, and folded his legs indian style, then laid his head on his hand, his elbows piercing his thigh. He had so many questions. Where was Riku? Will he ever go back home? Who was Donald and Goofy's king? What does the keyblade do? Why did the keyblade choose him? Where, oh, where is Kairi? The Keyblade Master, stricken with grief, looked outside the window. He was surprised there were no enemies. And what worried him the most- whatever he does, good or bad, results in the conflict of the worlds that the evil Heartless roam. He had to be pretty responsible for the job. Back at Destiny Island, Sora couldn't even turn his homework on time.

A purple star twinkled in the dark space. Sora smiled. He knew everything would be alright. He might have to work hard, he might have to have sacrifices, he might have to experience pain. But in the end, he knew everything would be alright. But he did wonder where Riku and Kairi were. He looked at the shiny stars. A sudden happy feeling came over him. He knew, that somewhere, Riku and Kairi, were looking at the same, beautiful, assuring, motherly stars.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Short, very short, I know. That's all I could think about. This is the reason why I don't write stories, boyz and girls. I just thought for a very long time. How would I react if a talking duck and dog came up, told me to go on an adventure with them, and have the chance of never seeing my best friends, the people that I love, ever again. I'd be pretty sad. But its ok. Flame me all you want.. ..;
