Title: Did you want to kill me to?
Summary: AU Remus's thoughts while Sirius's trial.
Rating: PG
Author Note: This is something I had written two or three years ago. I thought it was time to post it.
I see in your face anger, frustration and sadness. I would like to ask you myself, of what had happened. But, they don't let me.
You killed our best friends... Why? Still you say that everything is a lie. Never the less, my trust has dissappeared and I can't believe you, just like the rest that don't believe you.
The only thing I can do, is sit and watch, nothing more. As you have destroyed my well build up world, in which I lived in.
You took away the parents who you called our friends, parents who had a small boy, who now because of you has been orphaned. You left a family in tears, and a small girl without a brother, to whom she could have looked up. But most of all, you left a man with a broken heart, that can not be mended; and a family that will forever refuse to talk to you.
There you are, sitting in front of the Minister of Magic. To your right and left are standing the Dementors, foul creatures, which you hate since the knowledge of them. They are next to you, to keep you in control, so that you can't kill any more innocent people.
And I? I can just sit here and watch. Finally after na hour the trial has ended, but instead of returning in to my arms, you've been accused as guilty. How would love to speak to you once more, just to hear that oh beloved voice, to feel those lips upon mine once more, to feel those skilled hands. But they don't let me, they refuse to give me acces to you.
You struggle, you scream that you're innocent. And as our hearts meet, I somehow feel a sudden urge... Never the less, I can't believe you, but I will always love you, no matter what. Maybe you have forgotten, but Werewolves mate for life, until death us part.
I am quietly leaving the courtyard, wanting this all to be a dream, so that when I wake up, you're lying here at my side, reassuring me that it was all just a nightmare. I know that wish can not come true, never more. Before I finally leave, I once more look back and wonder.
