Falling off a High Horse
Summary: Harry Potter falls off his high horse . . . need we say more?
Disclaimer: All characters from the Harry Potter series belong to JK Rowling. All others belong to us, as does any aberrations from the books, maiming, or killing.
Harry Potter fell off his high horse and landed on Park Avenue in New York City. He'd never been to the States before, and because of this, did not realize that it was to be expected of him to get out of the road. Therefore, he was sadly and tragically overrun by an impatient New York cabbie.
When word got back to British Isles, Cho Chang killed herself, believing that it was all her fault because she was a narrow-minded bitch when Harry tried to explain his relationship with Hermione Granger, but ended up not doing so very tactfully. So of course, she took it the wrong way and drove Harry into the arms of . . . well, that's another story . . . ::reproachfully:: well . . .
Anyway, so Harry Potter is dead, and Hermione Granger eloped with Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley. They took a honeymoon in Venezuela and it resulted in her pregnancy with septuplets. She killed herself, as well, when she realized that raising seven children was not as easy as her mother had said it would be.
Albus Dumbledore, Harry's long time mentor and Voldemort-fighting partner, took up pinochle and Egyptian Ratscrew. He was quite good, in fact, until Severus Snape won as a result of a triple-six slap(anyone who's played Egyptian Ratscrew the right way, knows that a triple-six slap is not easy to come by) and he killed himself, as well.
So the only people still living are Severus Snape(who is rolling in the Galleons from that last game with Dumbledore), Ron(who is stuck raising seven children and well on the verge of suicide himself), Remus Lupin(the only one of the Marauders left and on the verge of suicide AS WELL because he finds his life meaningless without his weekly pinochle partner), and Voldemort (who, finding his life empty without Harry to torment, has started his own chamber orchestra and is raking in the Galleons from his first CD entitled A Night at the Symphony with the Dark Lord Voldemort).
