Sora looked at the keychain Kairi had left him in Traverse Town. He smiled, and put it on his keyblade, instantly making it from the Ultima Weapon into the Oathkeeper.
{You're giving me too many things
lately, you're all I need
you smiled at me and said,
Don't get me wrong I love you
but does that mean I have to meet your father?
When we are older you'll understand
what I meant when I said "No,
I don't think life is quite that simple"
When you walk away
You don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
It's hard to let it go
[So simple and clean]
The daily things [like this and that and what is what]
that keep us all busy
are confusing me
that's when you came to me and said, Wish I could prove I love you
but does that mean I have to walk on water?
When we are older you'll understand
it's enough when I say so
and maybe some things are that simple}
Sora walked towards the secret spot of himself, Riku, and his friend, Kairi. The wind blew in his hair, and it was pushed back. "It's time.. For me to leave.." He whispered.
Someone could be heard running in the sand. She turned the corner. "Sora!" Kairi cried. A tear escaped her eye, and she wiped it away. She ran to him, and tugged at his hand. "You can't go!" she cried, tugging even more,
{When you walk away
you don't hear me say please
Oh baby, don't go}
"I'm sorry, Kairi. I have to." Sora said, turning his head. The Destiny Islands are safe from the Heartless. But, other worlds aren't. It's my responsibility to go!" he told to his weeping friend. "I'll always love you." He said, and kissed her cheek.
Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight
it's hard to let it go {Hold me
whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
nothing's like before
Hold me
whatever lies beyond this morning
Is a little later on
Regardless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all
nothing's like before}
Kairi produced something from behind her. "Sora." she mumbled. "Remember the Paopu fruit? If we share it, we'll always be together. No matter what." she said as she took a small knife and cut it in half. She offered it to Sora. He took it, and took a bite. Kairi took her bite, and she smiled. A bit of juice dribbled down her chin. Sora wiped it off. They both laughed, maybe for the last time at the secret spot. Their secret spot.
Sora stood up from the ground. "Now, we're connected. Forever. There's no sense in saying goodbye, is there? If we'll never truly be apart. So, see you later." Sora said with a grin. Kairi smiled back. "See you later!
Both walked through the tunnel to the door. Sora opened it, and jumped in. After a few moments, tears streamed out of her eyes. "I love you.." Kairi whispered, as the door closed. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, my first attempt at a songfic. I'm not so sure about it.. But, I hope you liked it.
