--don't own bebop-
Um, I wrote this based on a dream I think Spike would've had on the night
before he died in the battle with Vicious, sort of an epiphany or a
prophecy if you will to his coming demise and how he might come to finally
handle it in his last moments on Earth, anyways thanks ahead of time for
reading, hope you like it.
(oh yeah, its about Julia not Faye even though I love Faye& Spike fics,
Spike and Julia is really how it should be, sooo.. yeah, enjoy)

Obsession.

Follow a track and never fall back,
until the day, the day of attack,
Conscience to conscience, it's never wrong to be right,
You pursue the pursued just to know you were right,
You needed the truth, you needed the past,
You couldn't seem to move from the noose, so in the end you tightened its
grasp,
Why can't you move forward, move on and let go,
Why do you seek this woman of myth, this one you'll never know,
You're far past denial and over the brink,
You think she's still alive and well, while you bruise your head with the
kitchen sink,
Trying and fighting, to forget and forgive
You remember her jumping with no more life to live,
But how can this be, how can she be gone,
I didn't mean the things I said, I even swore I was wrong,
I said I was sorry, I begged and sighed,
But when she leapt from the ledge, I couldn't even bring myself to cry.

No. NO!......she isn't gone I screamed,
My blood turned poisoned as I fell back in dream,
I dreamed of a world, where life would be fair,
where I could have my happy ending and no one would care,
no one would be cheated and all would know possession,
my love and my life is handed over undefeated,
alive.and without...obsession.
