Dragoness exited the teleporter and stepped into the mines section. The mines... a very hi-tech area, they were actually an underground laboratory, created by the scientists from Pioneer 1. She didn't know why they were called 'mines' though.
She walked out of the teleporter room, into a larger room, some sort of cargo area judging by the boxes lined up along the walls. She noticed 4 Gilchic robots in the middle of the room. They hadn't activated yet, as she hadn't gotten within their sensor range. Dragoness only brought two of her weapons with her for this trip. She pulled out her Varista handgun. The Varista was one of her favorite weapons: it was big, powerful, and had good range. Even though she was a HUcaseral, she didn't like getting into the thick of things unless she had too. Taking careful aim, she fired a shot into each of the gilchics metal craniums. The high velocity photon bullet went through them like a hot knife through butter. "Not much of a welcoming party" she grumbled.
Making her way further into the mines, she was a bit surprised to find that other than some canadine security probes, there weren't any other enemies. "That has to mean someone has come by her recently..." The next room she entered was pretty big, but the lighting was dimmed. She noticed a faint glowing light from one of the ends of the room. Cautiously, she crept along the wall towards the light, holstering her Varista for added silence. Only when she got within 15 feet did she realize that the glow was coming from a rather fat RAmar's halbert. Dragoness's red eyes glowed with excitement. "Finally, someone to challenge me" She said aloud. The RAmar turned in the direction of her voice, "I don't know who you are lady, but this area is off limits." Dragoness grinned for the human had fear in his voice. "I mean it! I have orders to kill anyone who comes through here!" He raised his halbert in an attack position. Dragoness stepped out of the shadows and stood in front of the trembling RAmar. "Kill me? You wouldn't attack an unarmed android would you?" The RAmar swung his halbert in a downswipe at Dragoness. She ducked underneath the blade and grabbed the pole with her left hand. Rising from her crouched position, she stared the RAmar in his eyes. Fear was evident in them. With her right hand she grabbed his throat, and promptly crushed it. "The rest of Black Paper must be nearby" she mused as she released her grip and the RAmars limp body fell to the floor.
She stepped over his body and walked through the door he was guarding.
