~Chapter 25~
Gabe, and Jonas were sound asleep before Ms. Bowman came in to
see how they were doing. She loved having company stay with her,
Tomorrow she would see if they would like to be adopted by her so they
can be a family. Morning came fast, Jonas was awake ready to start the
new day. He looked over to Gabe, but Gabe was still sleeping like a baby.
Though he should go back to sleep Jonas wanted to see Jo. He wanted
to ask her so many questions. He wanted to know how their community is
acted though the days, to see if they had anything special planned for
today. He wanted to know. So he got up out of bed; got dressed and went
to Jo's bedroom. She was taken back by the sudden appearance of Jonas in
her doorway. she was not use to having strangers in her house. So when
she saw Jonas she was shocked and said, "can I help you", and Jonas said
"yes". "I was wondering what do you usually do during a regular day like
this", and she said, "today I was wondering if you boys would like to go
to the mall", and Jonas said, What is a mall?", and Jo said, "you do not
know what a mall is?" and Jonas said "no". so Jo told Jonas about the
mall and what a mall is. and now Jonas wanted to go to the mall more then
anything. But Jo told him he would have to wait until Gabe woke-up.
and Jonas sighed. But before Jonas had left her room she asked him
if he and Gabe would like to be adopted by her. and Jonas asked her what
Being adopted was, and she told him that story too. and Jonas said yes,
YES, YES, Yes!! and Jo was so happy she told him to go wake Gabe and tell
him the good news. So Jonas left the room to go wake Gabe and tell him
about how Ms. Bowman wants to adopt them. and Gabe was a little cranky
because he didn't want to get up so early. it was only 8:30 in the morning.
A couple hours went by till it was like 11:00 in the morning and Gabe woke
without any struggle at all and was ready for the adventure that lies
ahead of them.

They all got dressed, and were off to the mall Jonas was
wondering why they drive cars, and why don't they ride bikes? So
he asked Jo,"why do people drive cars and don't ride bikes" Jo
said,"because it is easier to get around in cars than ride bikes".So
Jonas had no more comments on that subject. Finally they arrived at
the mall. Jonas was so pleased he wanted to discover what was inside the
mall. Not before long he found out that inside the mall held many stores and
shops. Jonas asked Jo if he could get a new outfit and Jo said she was
ok with that. Because she would not have Jonas waling around wearing a
tunic. it looks as if he's supposed to be part of a Christmas parade.
So Jo bought him a new t-shirt and some long black jeans, and some
shoes. Jonas was so thankful for that he wanted to buy Jo something but
realized you need money to buy something in the mall. Later that day they
decided to go to the food court so Jo, him, and Gabe could have some
different food. While he was sitting there he caught sight of the most
beautiful looking creature. Before long Jonas got a handle of himself
and pulled himself back into reality. Jonas told himself he was in love.
and before the day was over he would tell himself he would ask the mall
girl out.
