Look, I'm in a(n) sour/angsty mood. So, just read the stupid story!!

~ Summary: It's been two yrs since the betrayal of Inu Yasha, and it was far worse than just him picking Kikyo. Now, Kagome's in her senior yr of high school, and she meets some transfer students. One's actually fallen for her, but, can he ever get Kagome to talk. and if he does, will he learn the REAL truth behind the silence? Kag? (You'll see) ~

. My name is Higurashi Kagome. I'm eighteen yrs old, and I live in a shrine in downtown Tokyo, Japan. I attend Yomogochi High, (Kagome transferred schools) and am an 'A' student in all my subjects.
Well, about me. I'm the quiet type, . ever since IT happened. Someone close to me betrayed me.
My sister-like best friend, Sango, her perverted monk husband Miroku, my surrogate kitsune (fox demon) pup, Shippo, and I were ALL betrayed by someone we knew. Someone I loved. Inu Yasha.
Yes, it was the hanyo who betrayed us.
He had come to the decision that he wanted the dead, lying, bitch, Miko, . Kikyo.
But, in order for Kikyo to "love" Inu Yasha back, he had to do something to redeem himself for traveling with her foes. And that 'something' was this:
Kill the taijia, monk, kitsune, and of course my copy: Kagome Higurashi.
.I will never forget the day my life came crashing down, like a volcano had destroyed it.
~Flashback~
It was a cloudy rainy day, and the small group of friends was, for the first time, bored.
A squeak sounded beside Kagome, when a roar of thunder and a slash of lightning seared across the sky.
Kagome picked up the terrified kitsune and laid him in her lap. "Now, now Shippo, Okaa-san's here. So don't worry."
"I know kaa-san, but I keep getting the strangest feeling, like, something awful is about to happen." Shippo trailed off as a figure stepped into the small wet clearing.
The figure was soon followed by another figure, and this figure carried an evil deadish aura about it.
Sango and Miroku chose this time to come back out of the surrounding forest, where they had been looking for shelter. Kagome and Shippo would have gone with them, but Inu Yasha ran off, and Kagome chose to stay and wait for him. So, Shippo stayed behind also.
"I'm sorry Kagome-chan, but we co." Sango had started to say, but then, she and Miroku had noticed the extra figures.
"Kagome." one figure breathed out. "Y-yes?" the nervous time traveling teen questioned.
The figures walked out into the moonlight, and the friends couldn't help but gasp at the sight that greeted them.
Kikyo was hanging off of Inu Yasha's arm, pointing to something on her neck.
Something that resembled a demon's mark signaling claim.
~End Flashback~
Yes, that was a horrible day, and I always have dreams about that stop exactly where I did.
But, the worst always comes after the bad. and THAT, I would find out the hard way. TWICE.
