Charlie and Carson discuss on what their new living arrangement will look like going forward.

Had no idea what to call this story. My own version of events after season 1 finale. #gretson

The new season is starting up for the Rockford Peaches, but in addition to a few new players, they may be missing some as well. How will the Peaches find their stride with these new additions to the team. And will they be able to win the championship without their chemistry?

This short story is inspired by the scene in the kitchen in episode 3 where Greta is helping Carson wipe off beer from her dress and tries to kiss Carson again but gets rejected with the words "I am not like you". At the beginning of episode 4, we see a montage of Carson and Greta sneaking away to make out, but I am not so sure the beginning went as smoothly as it seems.

In the aftermath of Charlie's discovery of her affair with Greta, Carson returns to Idaho to pick up the pieces of her old life. But when she receives an invitation to Greta's wedding-to a man she's never even heard of-she's forced to confront the feelings she's spent the last months trying to hide from.

Carson and Charlie have a moment after Charlie sees her and Greta's goodbye kiss at the back of the Peaches house.

“You’re back.” It comes out sounding like anyone else would say it’s Christmas and she immediately rubs her eyes, clears her throat to remove the wonder and the delight, and tries again. “Uh, how was the movie?” Carson has a reflective moment.

Set immediately after the end of season 1 of A League of Their Own. The story will continue to focus on Carson Shaw as she navigates what she wants between her hearts desire, Greta, and her obligations to her husband, Charlie.
