this is a story I had written such a long time ago but could never find a way to get onto this website, until now. this fanfiction is my own version of the work of my own ancestor, Charles Dickens. I've always loved the Christmas story he wrote, and now I'm writing my own version.

My annual pastiche ff for Dickens's classic A Christmas Carol only although my Version is set in the Victorian Era in London and uses the same characters as Chas D, he and his publishers would have severe strokes if they ever read my pastiches based on anime and TV shows and films. The Ghost of Christmas Future from A Christmas Carol always seems to get a bad rap for being a personification of Death; this was written to fix this impression. I, for one, can relate to this ghost on a personal level; hopefully, this brief short holds a suitable explanation why. Please enjoy.

This is a series of three works, each in a different style, commenting on and expanding the themes in Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol". Each section begins with a short introduction to the theme being explored. It was written for a class project, though I suppose it counts as fan fiction, and will do well as my first entry here. In the end, Ebenezer Scrooge was not redeemed. As in the vision of the Ghost of Christmas Past, relief and even joy follows his passing. But there is one person who feels compassion and loyalty to the miser. (Obviously A/U. Oneshot)

After Ebenezer Scrooge's transformation into a Christmas-keeping man, he dwells on the fate of his departed friend. From beyond the grave, Jacob was instrumental in keeping his hope alive. Is there any mercy for Marley? This story focuses on Scrooge and Marley's relationship inspired by both Dickens' original novel and the Hungarian musical version, "Isten Pénze" ("God's Money").
