An accident on a bounty hunt has Spike traveling back in time roughly 53 years where he's found by one little girl who he recognizes from a Betamax tape who introduces her to her family and helps him because he's injured. Spike has the choice to give the adult Faye back her present or keep her in the future. For a man in love, he has a hard choice to make.

In the end it had been something mundane that had done it. Had broken his resolve and the cage around his heart. She'd been sitting there doing nothing but existing and Spike had been staring at her until he couldn't take it anymore. His heart clenched in his chest and he felt a new kind of terror that came from knowing little else could distract him now from what he really felt.

After crash landing on a derelict moon in pursuit of their latest bountyhead, members of the reunited Bebop crew find themselves entangled in a perilous tug of war between a powerful corporation and a woman determined to protect her father's legacy.
