AN: Hey everyone! I'm back! I've been having some MAJOR writer's block on my other story, so this is what I've been working on instead. I hope you like it!

~Chapter 1~
It was just an ordinary Friday night in December. The X-Men were on their way back from a Christmas party, though it was 15 days till Christmas. They had no idea what horror they were about to witness.
"Zhat party was awsome!" Kurt exclaimed. "Remember when ve dumped all zhe punch on Keety and Rogue?" The boys snickered.
"Not funny....."The girls said in unison, shooting disgusted looks at the boys. Kitty glanced out the window at the falling snow.
"It looks totally pretty out there with all the snow,"she said. Scott, up in the front driving, suddenly slammed on the brakes. Everyone jerked forward as the car skidded to a stop.
"Holy crap........"Scott whispered, staring outside. They all crowded into the front to look.
"What is it?"Rogue asked, peering out the window. Then she saw. "Oh mah god..."
Someone was laying in the middle of the road, not moving. Kitty opened the back door and jumped out. She ran frantically to where the body lay. The rest of the X-Men followed. Kitty brushed the snow, which had already begun to cover the person, aside. It was a young girl, about 14 or 15 years old. Her long,curly blonde hair had snowflakes frozen to it. She was extremely pale, so much so that they thought she was dead. There was a cut on her forehead, but the blood was dry. There were similar gashes covering her arms. Her eyes were closed. The girl did not appear to be breathing. Scott kneeled down and touched her arm. He turned to the rest with wide eyes.
"She.....she's so cold...."he whispered. "I don't think she's alive...it looks like she froze to death." Suddenly from behind them came a small sound. Scott whirled around and kneeled down again, checking for a pulse. There was none. The girl didn't move. Then Scott looked towards her face. The girl's mouth was open. She was breathing.
Kurt picked up the girl, surprised at how light she was. Then,with everyone touching him, he ported back to the institute.
From the shadows in the trees next to the road came a voice.
"So they found you. It doesn't matter, Aurora. Not at all. Next time there won't be a body for them to find. I'll finish you. Just wait and see,"said the sinister voice, full of hatred. "Just you wait..." Then the shadows shifted, and a figure slipped away through the trees.
