Ch.1
Kara Davies stood in the garage of her house waiting for her best friends, Adriane Charday and Emily Fletcher, to arrive. She had been planning this day for months, and had left her mall crawling and devoted all her time to cleaning up the garage until it was perfect.
"Kara! Your friends are here!" Mrs. Davies voice carried down the steps from the front hall.
"Coming!" Kara yelled back. She raced up the steps and skidded to a halt in front of Adriane and Emily.
"Hi Kara," Emily said, pushing her long, curly red hair out of her hazel eyes "Whatsup?"
"Come in and I'll show you." Kara said grinning broadly
"You didn't...." Adriane asked, gesturing to the paw shaped tiger eye on her wrist.
"No, it's much better! C'mon! I'll show you!" she grabbed Emily's arm and dragged her down the steps into the garage with Adriane lugging her guitar and amp behind them.
"Wow!" Emily exclaimed as soon as they were inside "Kara, this is great!"
Infront of them was a small stage Kara had her dad build. On top was a new drum set, several large speakers, and three mics.
"What's all this about?" Adriane asked
"Our new band!" Kara said happily
"What?!" the other girls exclaimed
"Our new band, Emily's our drummer, Adriane is going to be lead guitarist, and I," she added dramaticly "Am going to be lead singer."
"But I don't know how to play drums Kara!" Emily exclaimed
"I've figured that out already too!" Kara replied, still grinning "I asked Be*Tween-"
"I thought they were gone!" Adriane exclaimed
"The d'flys helped." Kara said "Anyway, they agreed to give us some lessons. Starting day after tommorow. So be here three o'clock sharp!"
"Yes ma'm." Adriane saluted Kara and they all burst into laughter
