Hi all my loyal fans! This is Sari, once again! This is my first songfic, so I hope everyone likes this one. It's to one of my favorite singers, Leann Rimes, On the Side of Angels. I think this song goes very good w/this Inu-Yasha fic. N-joy all!!! * U might want 2 have a tissue by U*
Kagome looked around her room of her house in the human world. Her mother made her stay here because her grandpa was sick. She hadn't been to Inu-Yasha's era in almost 3 weeks. She worked on her math homework, which she totally didn't get. She heard a rustle by the trees and looked up. There was Inu-Yasha, with a huge smile on his face.
*I've never been so certain, I've never been sure.
We're on the side of angels,
If we believe this love is pure.*
Kagome just stared at the hot half demon, with his long silvery hair,
and amber eyes always full of life and energy. He jumped through the open
window and gently touched Kagome's cheek.
*Is it so hard to trust it,
'cause we've been wrong before?*
Inu-Yasha quickly looked away and dropped his hand. He looked at
Kagome in a somewhat desperate way.
"I've missed you, Inu-Yasha. A lot. Did you miss me?" asked Kagome.
"Why would I?" snorted Inu-Yasha looking back toward the window.
Kagome didn't see, but a single tear formed in his eye.
*There comes a time in every life,
We find the heart we're waiting for.*
Kagome felt like her heart had been torn right down the middle; there
was no other way to explain the unknown feeling. She looked at Inu-Yasha
who had quickly wiped his eye.
"Uhh.would you like to come back to my era? You haven't been there in
a long time. Everyone misses you," explained Inu-Yasha. Kagome wanted to
ask, if everyone included him.
*After all the might-have-beens,
The close and distant calls
After all the try-agains,

So, both of them went back to his era. They went through the mystical
well and appeared on the other side. It was dark, way into the night.
They didn't know, but Shippo, Sango Miroku were behind some bushes and
were spying on Inu-Yasha and Kagome. Inu-Yasha grasped Kagome's hand and
held it in his.

Don't you feel it too? *
Inu-Yasha looked deep in Kagome' troubled eyes and lost himself. He
was spellbound in emotion he had kept bottled up for years- that was
until he met the ill-tempered Kagome, the owner of his heart.
*The gentle hand that's guiding us

He gently tilted her head up and told her, "I always have cared for
you." Silent tears ran down his face. He continued. "Every night when you
were gone, I stayed up waiting for you!" he stopped for a second and then
whispered, "I love you Kagome."
*Heaven only knows
Why this took so long
But only heaven knows
A love that's right or wrong*
Kagome reached up and gave Inu-Yasha the most tender and passionate
kiss. He held her tight and kissed her back.
*After all the might-have-beens,
The close and distant calls*
"I love you too, Inu-Yasha, even if you are a half-demon" answered
Kagome after they finished kissing they sat on the side of the well and
just held each other in an embrace, that seemed to last hours.

The three spies looked in awe at the two people they knew were
destined for each other. Sango silently cried tears of joy for the two
whom were deeply in love.
