Winter Wonderland
Sleigh-bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening.
"Come on Lilly, let's go for a walk"
"Are you sure James?" Lilly looked out the window at the beautiful picture that was Hogwarts during the Christmas Holidays. The snow was smooth and bright, reflecting the sun and making the entire world shine. "I guess a short walk would be nice on a day like this." She smiled at James.
A beautiful sight,
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland
As the two strolled along the edge of the woods it started to snow gently. The tiny crystals stuck to their hair and cloaks, making them glitter like everything else outside.
Gone away is the bluebird
Here to stay is a new bird
"Look James! Chickadees!" They stopped and watched the little birds swoop and play with each other.
He sings a love song

James pulled a piece of toast that he had saved from breakfast out of his pocket. They broke it into small pieces and scattered them around. The chickadees dove and fought over the crumbs playfully. "They're just like you boys at dinner." Lilly said.
In the meadow we can build a snowman
Then pretend that he is Parson Brow
James scooped up a bit of snow. Lilly said, "If you throw a snowball at me I will hex you into next Thursday." "I was just going to suggest we build a snowman." James said innocently. They built a snowman and then a snow woman to keep him company. "They're missing something." James said thoughtfully. "I know!" Lilly said and she put her hat and scarf on the snow woman. James followed suit and placed his cap on the snowman's cold head. Lilly stepped back to admire their handiwork. The snow people were a bit lopsided and leaned against each other.
He'll say, "Are you married?"
We'll say "No man
But you can do the job when you're in town"
The two Gryffindors headed back up to the school. In the entrance hall they stamped the snow off their boots and went up to the common room.
Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
Lilly and James sat in front of the crackling fireplace. They alternated talking, laughing, and sipping drinks of hot butterbeer. James told a corny joke and Lilly rolled her eyes. Suddenly she stopped laughing. James quickly looked up at the sprig of mistletoe that Sirius had conveniently hung that morning.

Unfortunately for them, Sirius and Remus decided that now was the perfect time to try out Remus's new camera.
