I sometimes imagine my own season 20 with Kitty still being there! This might be an episode. Kitty gets a disturbing note. (still not too good at this summary stuff, I know).

Ten years after her contract with Mannon ended, Kitty is living her dream. But will that dream turn into a nightmare when revenge is sought for the demise of Will Mannon? Buckle up, Gunsmokers!

There hidden secrets that Kitty has kept from Matt for more than 10 years. She has moved from Dodge to St. Louis to keep the secrets safe... But why does it feel like it's her undoing? and everything is unraveling around her? The story is rated T just to be safe.

During a busy summer week, Kitty's feeling a little lonely. A charming young man from Texas is there to keep her company, but he's got other plans in Dodge City when Matt is forced out of action by a bad tooth and a lot of liquor. Rated T for light swearing, drinking, and some descriptions of bullet wounds. One-shot, based on the radio episode "Kitty's Quandary."

If you need a dose of Matt and Kitty (and who doesn't), I'll be posting short stories here. The stories will be independent of one another. Ideas for the stories may come from scenes from the show, a line spoken by one or both of them, or whatever pops in my head. I don't own the Gunsmoke characters. I hope you enjoy reading these Matt and Kitty stories.

After much thought, I've decided to put all of my "Ruby Dillon" stories here. Chapters 1-6 are from "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story." Any other story that relates to Matt and Kitty's life with Ruby will be here. (Chapter 1 (Life) has an extended ending from what was written in "Matt and Kitty: A Timeless Love Story.")

Title says it all. Since it's now fall, somehow this story wrote itself and I went from there. Just Matt and Kitty enjoying company.

September has rolled around again and it's time for the Dillons' sixth anniversary! Matt has had to miss four out of five. Doc has a party planned. Will the sixth be just another one of Kitty's disappointments? Tenth in the "There's Always Tomorrow" series.

Matt's gun arm is seriously wounded in the episode, the Disciple, but people can be wounded in different ways. Is it true that time heals all wounds? (Yes, I'm still bad at this summary thing).

Reflections in a mirror

One thing you can count on - if there's a guest star in the episode, they've got a connection to a Dodge City local and there's going to be trouble. Wouldn't it be nice if - just for once - someone could show up and not have any issues? I don't own the characters from the show or the setting or even a DVD set.

Recently, I couldn't help but wonder: What if instead of launching a psychological assault against Mannon after she'd summoned him to her rooms, Kitty had made Mannon an offer he couldn't refuse? Come along on the journey to discover the terms of "The Contract".

Doc reflects on the people that are most important to him. Five chapters with hopefully a chapter a day. (Yes, I've written another story. I figured I might as well write and publish them while the ideas are in my head and before I go back to teaching in September.)

Matt & Kitty visit Bill Pence & Laura Simmons in Pueblo where the couple now live only to have Matt's hoped for recovery from his returned blindness complicated by Cope Borden's end of Hot Spell threat haunt them.

This story is about Matt, Kitty, and Ruby, but won't be with my "The Dillons: A Treasured Family." This will be a multi-chapter story. Normally I update "The Dillons: A Treasured Family" weekly. That won't be updated as I will be working on this story. I wish you could add more than 4 characters. There will be others besides the ones listed.

A young and beautiful woman arrives in Dodge from Matt's past. (Yes, another one!)

This is a sequel to "Double Edge Sword." If you haven't had a chance, you might want to read that story first. What happens when Abby's biological father shows up? I'm not sure on the number of chapters. No matter the length, I hope you enjoy it. (Matt, Kitty, Doc, and Festus will be in this story, but it will also have other characters in it.)
