(Garfield is sleeping like always, it Christmas eve and then Nermal stops
by for a visit. Nermal tries to wake Garfield up by pulling his covers off)
Nermal: Come on Garfield, wake up!
(Garfield yawns and then looks out from under the covers)
Garfield: Oh no, not you!
(Garfield then sticks his head back under the covers)
Nermal: I get the feeling you don't like me!
(Garfield sticks his head back out of the covers)
Garfield: Give this kitten a saucer of milk, he's a genius.
(Nermal pouts)
Nermal: why are you so mean to me?
Garfield: it's my third nature!
Nermal: What's your first two?
Garfield: Sleeping and eating!
(Nermal nudges Garfield)
Nermal: come on Garfield, the days a waiting!
Garfield: well the days waited this long, I think it can wait a bit longer.
Nermal: Garfield your no fun!
Garfield: Does this mean you'll leave me alone?
Nermal: no, anyway I'm doing a photo shoot for an animal lovers magazine later today.
Garfield: I'm warning you!
Nermal: They say I have the right amount of cuteness to go one the cover.
(Garfield throws the covers off him and edges toward nermal)
Later on..
Jon: Garfield, I think we should each open one present before we go to bed.
(Garfield grabs a present opens it up it turns out to be a jumper)
Jon: Now me!
(he grabs a near present)
Jon: this is a new one, I didn't see this one here this morning
he quickly rips off the wrapping paper and..
Jon: you got me.Nermal
Garfield: Merry Christmas Jon!
(Garfield then runs off)
Jon: GARFIELD!
(Jon tips the box upside down and out comes Nermal all tied up with a sticker on his mouth saying do not open till Christmas)
Nermal: Come on Garfield, wake up!
