Under the mistletoe

By Anna Yolei

This is my Christmas gift to you readers. It's a little early, I know :) J/C, rated 'G'. I don't own Star Trek, Voyager or anything thereof.

Kathryn Janeway and Chakotay were on their way from the Holodeck to Janeway's quarters for dinner.

"Well, that sailing trip sure was fun, Commander!"

"Yeah, it was…"

Tom Paris runs into the two of them. "Evening, Captain. Just three more days till Christmas, eh?"

She smiled. "Nice to see you're in the mood, Lieutenant."

"Good. Then you wouldn't mind if I do this!" He reached into his pocket and pulled a piece of mistletoe over Kathryn and Chakotay's heads. Janeway's eyes got wide as saucers, while Chakotay just stood there, not knowing what to do. A slight blush came across his cheeks.

Paris just laughed.

"That is not funny, Mr. Paris!!"

"What?! It's all in the name of the holiday! Besides, you can trust me!" He grinned his mischievous grin. Kathryn looked over at Chakotay.

Chakotay let out a pseudo-fake sigh. "Well, if it's for the holiday…" and reached over to kiss the captain. He was surprised to find her tongue in his mouth a few seconds later.

Damn, that was great!! Kathryn thought to herself. I'll have to thank Mr. Paris someday!

Kathryn pulled away and looked into the Indian's handsome brown eyes.

"Well, Kathryn…I got my Christmas gift."

Kathryn pulled him in again.

Paris looked down at his mistletoe and knew when he wasn't wanted or needed anymore. He wished he had a camera.

The end.

Fluff. Pure fluff. I have another J/C to be published at a different archive site. Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah!
