Sesshoumaru's lips curled upward in a slight smirk as he leaned back
against a nearby tree. Loud growls emanated from Inuyasha's throat, the
hair on the back of his neck bristling. A sudden gust of wind blew up,
knocking a few strands of Sesshoumaru's perfectly groomed hair astray from
behind his ears. Inuyasha's own silver mane aside, blowing over his
shoulders without abandon. The youkai continued to stare at Inuyasha with a
bemused expression, watching his little brother continue to act like a
pathetic little dog. His mouth finally opened, speaking for the first time
since before the battle. "Now now little brother, stop acting like a
foolish mortal dog. I merely didn't want to have another occurrence with
that sword of yours. Stop acting like that, have you no respect for your
heritage?" Inuyasha's growling decreased slightly in volume, but he
continued his defensive posture. Sesshoumaru pushed himself off the tree to
walk to the center of the field they were fighting in.
Rushing forward, Sesshoumaru was in front of Inuyasha faster than he could react. His remaining arm shot forward to punch his younger brother with poison claws. Reacting as best he could, Inuyasha raised the sword to block Sesshoumaru's blow. The Tetsuaiga rang from the blow and was knocked from the hanyou's hands, flying into the forest beyond. Inuyasha took no second glance at the sword as he moved forward to return the attack. Sesshoumaru easily avoided it, grabbed the outstretched hand, gripping it tightly. "Wrong move, little brother. Now, die!" His younger brother's wrist started to smoke, the poison burning away at the flesh. Inuyasha screamed before wrenching himself free, jumping back to rest on a tree-branch.
The sky above slowly darkened as another wind blew up. His silver hair obscured his face as the hanyou's growling started once more. Sesshoumaru's nose twitched as his eyes widened slightly. The half-breed's scent had changed once more; it was becoming the scent of a full-blooded demon. This complicated things. That infernal human girl he trailed along was not there to use the humorous word-spell to snap him out of it. He contemplated a few moments while Inuyasha's growls rose in volume. An ominous red glow could be seen between the strands of silver hair blowing across his visage.
Sesshoumaru took one step, then another, followed by another until he was standing at the base of the tree holding his younger brother. "Get down here little brother," He intoned before raising his hand to lacerate the branch that Inuyasha perched on with his poison whip. The branch fell beneath Inuyasha, his form falling with it. The surprised hanyou landed in his older bother's outstretched arms, his hair rising on ends. Taking the only idea he had, Sesshoumaru pushed his younger brother against the tree and pressed his lips against Inuyasha's chapped ones.
