I recently posted a story on The Mummy (2017) archive, a way to "fix" Universal's Dark Universe and this is the first story in that solution (please read it if you have the time). Please enjoy my remake/take of the remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon. Note: this will not be updated too often, I am juggling many stories at the time, but I will not give up on this either.

A group of young adults from university decide to spend their summer vacations exploring the Amazon, only to discover that Gillman is still alive. The students most unite and save themselves from the Gillman, and save one one of them to whom the Gillman has fallen in love.

This time, Gill-man finds himself framed for a crime he didn't commit. He extracts his revenge, but is wanted now, more than ever. After the accident in the third film, The Creature Walks Among Us, he is losing more and more of his creature likeness...becoming human. Will the law be able to track him? Or is he out for more revenge? Will update every other Tuesday for now.

William Alland produced a movie called "The Black Castle" in 1952. Two years later he produced another, more famous film, "The Creature from the Black Lagoon." While working on a bit of fanfic for the first film, I noticed the similarity in titles and started to muse about what it might be like if the Creature were associated with the Black Castle instead of the Lagoon.

A sequel to the 3rd movie of the series, "The Creature Walks Among Us." It picks up right where the movie left off, from the Gill-Man's point of view. I see this as a bridge between the movies and future Gill-Man stories.
