This was my submission to the Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal" Author Quest, which sought a new author for a new adventure in "The Dark Crystal" series. Trivergence refers to the conjunction of the three suns but also the three perspectives of Skeksis, urRu, and Gelfling.

The Songtellers exhort the children not to come here, warning of evil wizards who steal the souls of Gelflings. But the Garthim are real, and the ruins of Gendel are still smouldering. For Tyr, the old stories aren't as frightening.

urDau the Nurturer loves watching over gelfling children, even as tensions rise with Skeksis and between gelfling clans. What happens when she finds an abandoned egg that hatches into a creature no one has seen before? Is this the answer to her wishes of becoming a mother, or something a lot more sinister? Thra will never be the same...

Just a collection of random events within the Crystal Castle from the viewpoint of my Skeksis OC, skekTah the Schemer. No real linearity. Mostly just drabbles of various things to explore the Dark Crystal world. May contain various AUs and such.

AU to VotSatE where none of the Skeksis died. Takes place just after the Gelfling Gathering, so past the 600 trine mark in my canon. Emperor skekSo gives skekTah frightening news involving something the Schemer didn't think possible-Skeksis pregnancy. Love is in the air, Skeksis are pairing off, and children are on the way. Of course, skekTah must be the odd one in this...

An alternate time, a different prophecy. The stars align, a minor conjuncture occurs, and two new skeksis are born, and their mere presence threatens the elder's rien. A series of one-shots.

AU to VotSatE after the 600 trine mark. skekTah the Schemer is in the crystal chamber during a minor conjunction and the Dark Crystal sends him to a parallel version of his own world. He meets many strange Skeksis and other creatures, has weird adventures, and learns quite a bit along the way. But his goal remains the same - trying to get home again!

Following the unexpected death of skekMal the Hunter, there is a shift the social dynamics at the castle. Tensions are higher than ever with skekLach remaining the Emperor's favorite and everyone else's worst enemy. It's only a matter of time before someone does something foolish.

Who could say that the Skeksis were born when they were split apart from their good counterparts? They weren't born naturally as Gelfling babies were, no. They were violently and physically split from the one being they made together - the UrSkek.

Sil the Chamberlain has to go through many struggles. He is forced into a new adventure of life outside the castle.
