Not-so-secret Santa Part 2

It was soon Christmas Eve, the day which everyone had been anticipated towards. Joseph and Dunga were the first two to arrive at the tree, jumping for joy like little children. Ozuuma somehow showed up like a shadow, and Mariam walked casually towards the huddle. Everyone picked up their present that had their names on it.
Joseph opened his gift to reveal a lump of fruitcake and a funny green hat that had the word 'goofball' sewn on. He placed the hat on his head and began to munch on his fruitcake.
Dunga opened his gift to see a new yellow shirt, new red pants and a new toothbrush.^_^ He grinned when he saw an extra bag of chocolate toffee hidden under the tissue paper.
Ozuuma opened his gift and smiled, taking out the black gloves in the box. They were the kind that didn't have any fingers, and they seemed to fit his hands perfectly. He caught of glimpse of a paper tucked inside his glove, but ingnored it for the moment. Those gloves would be perfect for beyblade practise in the winter.
Mariam sighed and hesitated to open her gift, but she did anyway. Inside a small little box was a pretty silvertone ring...and everyone (well mainly Dunga and Joseph) were 'oohing' and 'ahhhing' like tourists. Mariam slowly slipped the ring on her finger and smiled to herself.
When everyone returned to their rooms, Ozuuma took out the piece of paper and read it quietly: " I hope these keep you warm during the winter." He held the note close to his heart as he admired his new gloves. Smiling, he stood up and headed for Mariam's room.
