Dive low, fly high
Into waiting charcoal sky
Once more, do try
Be sure the weaker creatures die
Swoop, screech, sweep, swerve
Into endless upward curve
Not a lizard, not a bird
Terror of this age, the Third
Time now is nigh
Frighten those that pass you by
Overhead, loud cry
Sharp of wit, smart and sly
Fly up, fly down
Spread the dark to every town
Inverted smiles, they frown
In the silence they will drown
Soar high, soar far
Kill the light of every star
Night falls, descends
As we come to bitter end
