A/N~ ok I thought I'd give this a shot so here we go. I know these first
chapters are a little short so I'll try to post them two at a time until
they get longer. Just give it a read and let me know what you think.
Chapter 1: A New Year
"Beep Beep!!" Emma Nelson's alarm clock went off, waking her up for the first day of her junior year at Degrassi High School. She sat up and shut off the clock, glancing at the time. "Man why does school have to start so early?!"
"You up Em?!" Spike called from the kitchen.
"Yeah Mom." Emma got up to take shower and then returned to search for something to wear. After ten minutes of digging through her closet Emma put on a pair of light blue jeans and a white tank top, after all since Sean left she had no reason to dress up.
The doorbell rang and Emma ran down to let in her best friend Manny Santos. "Hey Em, you ready to start our junior year?"
"Yeah I guess, I wish Sean were here though."
"C'mon Em he's been gone for a year and a half, get over it."
"I know Manny but I miss him so much. We still love each other."
"Still, would it be so bad to move on?"
"You know I've tried, but whatever. Let's just go before we're late. You driving?"
"Yeah let's go." They got in Manny's car and headed off to start a new year.
