Chapter 1: Twin Adepts of a Different Race

A certain earth adept with blonde hair looked out the window. It was early in the morning and his wife is sleeping. Stroking her long aqua blue hair, he left to see his daughter's room. Opening the door, he saw that she wasn't there. 'Probably playing with the other children' he thought. He went outside to soak in the morning breeze. After that, he went to walk around the new village of Vale. While walking he found his childhood friend Garet, being dragged by his wife Jenna. Isaac smirked at this and continued walking.
Suddenly a voice cried out, "Daddy!". Isaac turned to see Clare, his daughter, running with a scared look on face. "What's wrong?" Isaac asked. " Some strangers forced open the town gate and they look weird.". Isaac hurried back home to wake his wife and get his weapons. "Wake up, dear," Isaac said to Mia. "What is it?" she asked, sounding worried. "Clare said strangers busted the town gate open and had entered the town, we must hurry," They grabbed their weapons and hurried to the plaza.
When they reached the plaza, they found the Garet, Jenna, and Felix there already, weapons at their hand. "What took ya, Isaac?" yelled Garet in frustration. "Never mind that, we got bigger problems." As Isaac approached, he saw two cloaked figures. "Who are you?" asked Isaac, ready for anything. "We do not wish to harm you, we seek help," said a female voice under the white cloak. "I still do not understand, sister, for why we, at stronger levels, need help from the basic elements," said a male voice under the black cloak. "Because brother, he, named Isaac hold the Golden Sun, more powerful than anything in the world," said the female. "Yeah, but-" the male started to protest. "Look, do you want to restore Valador or not?" the female said angrily. The male was silent.
"Now, you wish to know our names?" asked the female. Isaac nodded. "Well, I am Ying, and he is Yang. We are both travelers seeking to rebuilt the lost city of Valador. We figured that the only way to do that is with the power of the Golden Sun.". "So in order to restore this city, you need the Golden Sun?" asked Isaac, feeling that he can trust these people. "Yes," replied Ying, " Can we talk somewhere more pleasant?" "Ok," said Isaac, "We'll talk at the Inn."
Ying and Yang told them everything about themselves and Valador. What caught Isaac the most, was that they are adepts of a different race and that they are the only remaining few of the Shadow and Light clan. They were also twins as a matter of fact. "So how was Valador destroyed?" asked Isaac out of curiosity. "Oh," said Ying, " It was destroyed by a rival army of-"
