Soulmarks are a cosmic assurance that there's someone out there for you. They are one of the most important thing in a person's life, and that's why it sucks when something is different about one's mark or the circumstances surrounding it. Doubly so when they already had anxieties about the whole soulmate thing.

A collection of story snippets about Bravely Default. I can't even call them one-shots so much as just random scenes. This collection is simply a dumping ground for all the miscellaneous ideas that cross my mind as I play through the game.

Yew admires all his friends. Edea is incredibly strong, Magnolia's skill is unparalleled, and sometimes it seems that Tiz can do just about anything with a few minutes of practice. They're amazing. So amazing, that sometimes Yew feels like his only purpose in the group is to carry his magic tent...

Right before what should prove to be their most important battle to rescue Agnes from the Skyhold, Yew decides they need to master the new Guardian job they found in order to succeed. This takes them on a long detour... to his favorite grinding spot. (Short Oneshot, Bravely Second.)

The party decide to stay at the Caldisla Inn right after their final battle, they earned it after all, but something is bothering Yew. Tiz and Agnes eventually confront him about it, and have a long talk about a certain subject known as Celestials... (Post Bravely Second, Oneshot.)

A short drabble about Adelle's experiences with gender identity in Bravely Default II. There is no Bravely Default II tag on this website. Spoiler warning for Adelle's backstory. Characters include: Adelle, Martha, Elvis, and Orpheus

They tried to stop Martha's execution. But seeing them getting in his way, Domenic decided to have the entire party executed first instead. Starting with Elvis. Adelle was not having that.

(BD2) Galahad makes frequent visits to his sister's grave, and most of the time, he is not alone in doing so. If it were anyone else, he would dislike the company, but he found that Martha's presence did wonders for thawing out the bitterness that had settled deep within his heart. (Galahad/Martha)
