Sky without Stars

A sky without stars,
Is like you and me,
It happens,
And takes away the magic,
My heart is filled with light,
But,
What does that change?
Will it bring your hope back to my heart,
For all the times you stood by me,
There are enough stars,
Don't let them disappear,
You gave me my wings and made me fly,
You helped me soar,
An angel,
You helped when I couldn't see,
You gave me faith to believe,
My world is a better place because of you,
I don't want to have to say goodbye,
And become,
A sky without stars.....
