Here I stand
staring at the moon
Truly wishing
I could say I love you

Here I wonder
sitting beneath the stars
Truly wanting that
great fire of Mars

Here I ask
above the roses
"Is it too much a task
to find that love inside you?"

Retorting harshly,
a soft "No way"
I continue to ponder
the events of today

You came by earlier
that I could see
But something inside you
was crushing your glee

Not that you express it
that much I know
Though I had been looking at you
from head to toe

Gods you are beautiful
I cannot resist
So I seal our fate
at the lips with a kiss

You stare at me
at what I have done
And then you flee
faster than the sun

You never returned
for many a day
And now my barriers
start to give way

Here I stand
staring at the moon
Truly wishing
I would I say I love you

My body is breaking
my heart torn in two
And yet you are oblivious
to the kitsune you slew

Without a call
all on its own
My body weeps
and no one has gall
...to stop it

To seal our fates
I kissed your lips
But I'll never regret
the sensations and bliss
