Truly pondering

My fire is strong
that much I know

This thought bewilders me
I never loved snow
And here I was
trying to show

This is strange for one
that never felt a blush

Odd how I know it

Bewildering how I sense it
Warm how I feel it

I am a fire youkai
this much I know
I am also koorime
The Forbidden Child of snow
...maidens

I never felt love
this much I know
But I know for once that
this IS love, y'know?

How can I love you
you passionate kitsune?
For your ideas of love
aren't an issue

You're a youko at heart
A creature of divine beauty
A graceful deity
A creature that takes love
and throws it away haphazardly

My mind is wavering
that much I know
But I've always sensed
this cool wind that blows
...endlessly

I've seen your beauty
I know your grace
I've experienced your anger
in a fleeting blaze

You cannot stay angry long
for any being against you
For then, you've killed them
like you always do

If I were to say I loved you
how would you reply?
If I claimed you mine
would you let things glide?

I am a proud demon
that much I know
So I shall return to you
For you, I'll show
...my love for you
