Jake Barnes: You don't like Paris?

Georgette: No.

Jake Barnes: Why don't you go somewhere else?

~ A Movie

Authors Notice: To all of my lovely (and you all are lovely, mind you) D/P fans. You guys totally rock and it's awesome.  This is all dialogue again I'm wondering if you guys like that. It makes it easy on me. LOL. I love dialogue. I love words and conversation and all that.  It's a strange fic, it simply is, but I'm sure you can think of some twisted plot in your mind and go on with it.  ;)

"I thought you promised to keep me safe forever, Malfoy."

"I thought you promised to never grow up, Parkinson."

"I think we both promised that...a long time ago."

"A very long time ago."

"Malfoy?  I want to go back."

"I know. I think...everyone does."

"Do you?  Let me see your Dark Mark. Go on then, show me."

"What do you---why do you--?"

"Show me."

"See!"

"Oh. I wish I could've been there, I know it was sort of important to you."

"It was fine."

"Did it hurt?"

"Parkinson, just be quiet."

"Are you thinking?"

"I don't know what I would be thinking about."

"Did you make a mistake?"

"When?"

"When you got the Dark Mark, Malfoy."

"No, not at all."

"Not even a little bit?"

"Of course not."

"Oh."

"Yeah..."

"I'm glad for you then."

"Alright."

"If it's anything to you, I think...I think it's okay."

"Thanks, Parkinson."

"I'm scared that they'll find us."

"Why?"

"Because there's a reason we're hiding."

"Oh."

"..."

"I'm sorry I can't keep you safe, Parkinson."

"I'm sorry I grew up, Malfoy."
