Perfect Ending

Please don't say.
"Travis! How could you? That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard in my whole life! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" That was my dad.
"Henry dear you're overreacting," my mom said.
I sat there nervously. My dad glared at me his coffee colored eyes full of fury. I slicked my hair back nervously.
"OVERREACTING? OVERREACTING? Our son is gay and I'M OVERREACTING?" he bellowed.
"Honey . . ." Mom said using her calmest voice.
"TRAVIS YOU HAD BETTER GET OUTTA MY HOUSE!" he yelled and began throwing things at me.
My boyfriend Gabriel and I decided that now would be the best time to get out of there and let my mom calm my dad down. We got up and sortof sneaked out of the living room, through the hall, and out the front door.
When we got outside I started thinking about who I was and what I just did. I, Travis Davis, just took my boyfriend into my house and came out to my parents. I told them that I was gay.
Suddenly I was brought back to reality.
"It's not fair! They should understand you! Mine do!" Gabey (as I like to call him) said loudly.
I looked at him and ruffled his blond hair. Looking into his blue eyes they were cold but slowly softening.
"You stupid all-American boy," I said playfully. I was Italian.
"You stupid Italian. But, what do you mean? Why am I stupid?" He looked at me thoughtfully.
"Gabey." I said slowly, "Your 'rents grew up in Vegas. Your dad worked in a casino and your mom was a showgirl. They worked with transvestites, gays, and lesbians. You know, everything. They're used to that sortof thing," I said smiling. Inside, though, I was tearing myself apart. I was SO mad. How could my parents, MY PARENTS, so this to me? My dad practically kicked me out of my house. Gabe was so lucky his parents didn't.
"Gabe what am I going to do? I got kicked out of my house. What about Alex? She's only thirteen! I couldn't just abandon my little sister like that! I mean who's gonna drive her everywhere?" I said fuming.
Gabe, on the other hand, started to crack up.
"What?" I yelled.
"Your so cute when your worried," he said and kissed me tenderly, "Let's go downtown, to the Village, or Chinatown. You love the city. Maybe we can even catch a musical," he said grabbing my hands. He was trying so hard to make me feel better. It was working, too.
"What are you thinking about?" he said tilting his head to the right. With his hair falling in his face he looked adorable.
"How glad I am that you're my boyfriend," I said softly.
"Why because I am oh, so, good looking?" he said with a playful smile.
I punched him in the arm.
"Your ruining the moment," I said.
"THAT was the point," he said looking up at me. Suddenly his eyes flooded with worry. "Travis?"
"Yeah?" I said
"Promise you will always love me and that we will always be together," I laughed and leaned in. We had THE most passionate kiss ever. When we finally pulled apart I looked at him.
"I promise," I took his hand and we started walking. The sun was starting to set. It was BEAUTIFUL. My day may have been bad but right now, this was perfect. I never wanted it to end.
