Chapter 1 It was a day like any other, Kagome and her party were searching for the lost shards of the shikon jewel and as usual naraku had a surprise waiting for them. "I think I sense something coming from over there" said Kagome pointing into a dense forest. "Feh figures it's in someplace like that" smirked Inuyasha drawing his tetseiga. "Yes your right Inuyasha they're never are any pleseant meadows" chuckled Mirokou tighting his grip on his staff. "We'll go ahead Kagome and Sango you wa...." Inuyasha never finished his sentence for as he was making his plan a huge demon sprung from the forest. It reared back it's dragon like head and spat a bright red gel at the party. Inuyasha quickly scooped up Kagome and evaded, Sango however tried to stand her ground only to find that the gel was acidic. "Argh.. don't touch it anyone it's acid!" she shouted. The all nodded in understanding but the demon saw this as and open invatation to attack. It drew back one of it's scythe arms and swung at the injured demon hunter. "SANGO!" shouted Mirokou diveing to push her out of the way, but to no avail. "Mirokou Sango! Are you al right?" asked Kagome returning to the sides of her injured friends. Kilala nuzzeled her master but it was no good they were out cold. Inuyasha turned from this sight and grit his teeth " YOU BASTARD taste some of this!" he shouted as he brought down his tetseiga. The demon matched the blow and took a swing at the hot-blooded half demon. Inuyasha leaped back but he still suffered a nice clean slice across his midriff. "Inuyasha pull back!" pleaded Kagome landing some arrows on the face of the demon. Inuyasha stood his ground in front of his wounded friend and prepared for the worst. "this guy's no ordinary demon he's to fast!" grunted inuyasha raising his sword to cut throught the windscar. However the demon was having to much fun to be killed so he spat a great deal of acid at Kagome and her fallen friends. "HELP ME INUYASHA!" screamed Kagome covering her head. Inuyasha turned back in horro to see the red acid flying towards her with nothing he could do. Expecting the worst Kagome closed her eyes, but nothing happened she looked up to see what seemed to be a man in a sphere of white light stopping the acid. "WHITE DRAGON PROTECT!" was what the man had screamed as he jumped in the way. Inuyasha was tossed to the side by the demon's scythe arm since he had turned to look at Kagome. The man smiled and drew his sword, which to Kagome's surprise morphed like the tetseiga into a huge broadsword that was triangular at the bottom and formed into a sharp point at the end. "Don't worry miss Althena's got other plans for this demon" said the man facing the demon. "but wait who are you?" asked a startled Kagome. "we'll save introductions for later" said the man charging the demon. The demon gave a toothy smile at the site of a new challenge and swung at the man. The man smiled and brought his great broadsword down and severed the demon's arm. "tsk tsk I had hope for more fun but oh well this attack should finish a weakling like you off." Smirked the man bringing his sword above his head and Chanting "HORISEN SLASH" sweeping his sword in front of him and a cresent arc swept from his blade. The demon's eyes shrank at this sign of strength and tried to run but it was too late.
