The ongoing war between the red and white queendoms may require the gracious jester to have a courtship with the princess, a girl he hardly knows, to save his country.

Mad. Not. Mad. Not. There was no difference, really. Just stuff and nonsense. The moments before Hatta becomes completely mad and succumbs to the prophecy. I KNOW there's a part in the book where he meets Cath and everything but humor me.

Like many I was devastated by the end of Heartless. I don't remember the last time I loved a character as much as Jest. I hope, for those like me, this alternative ending soothes your heart.

In a reality where Jest was not accused of kidnapping Cath after the attack at the theater, Cath is still having trouble deciding how to end the courtship with the King and invoke a new one with a certain Joker, Cath is determined to lead her own life and make her dreams a reality.Title is influenced by The Road not Taken by Robert Frost. A rewrite of the ending because I can't stand Jest dying. Where in Heartless I left off: Cath, Jest, Raven, and Hatta are in the Crossroads after making their way through the Maze and down the steps. There are the Looking Glass and Shrinking Potion on the glass table. Cath hears Mary Ann scream and sees Peter Peter's pumpkin patch behind the looming spiked door.

In this real-world AU, Cath's entire life revolves around pleasing her demanding mother, from her career as a paralegal right down to the clothes she wears. A magician certainly doesn't fit anywhere into her mother's plans- but he might just be the beginning of an impossible journey.

Set after the events of Heartless, Cheshire finally takes a stand against the Queen's rage.

This is a short story from the book Heartless by Marissa Mayer that I wrote. I have a love-hate relationship with this book, as would any hopeless romantic looking for a good read. this book has impacted my life, and I hope you enjoy this story I wrote. Jest is on a trip to the white kingdom with Hatta for a month. Cath could barely wait for his return. But when he got home, sexy times endured.

What would become of Catherine's heart had Jest never died? Catherine is ready to give up her heart to the Sisters when an unexpected guest crashes the party and changes everything. Can she get away with keeping her heart?

We all know that Hatta, otherwise known as The Mad Hatter, went to Cress after his father's untimely death, and met Jest, but we don't know the details for it. SO here you go! The story of what happened to Hatta before he met Catherine at that tea party one day.

Cath is supposed to be a noble woman wearing frilly dresses and corsets right? Wrong cath wants to be a baker with her best friend and she wants to fall in love but her parents don't want that they want her to be a queen they want her to be royalty. The more she pretends the more depressed she gets! Will someone save her? Or will she end it all and let Darkness consume her!

Jest's heart may have been stolen by Cath, but he stole another heart before hers. He stole the heart of the White Queen's daughter, Elsie.

What can I say?  The ending left me in tears so I added another one.  Takes place a few years after the events of Heartless.  Cath has committed many atrocities and today is the day she finally pays for them... (Disclaimer: I do not own Heartless.)

This version of the ending is not happily ever after. Cath does grieve, but she has a much stronger sense of vengeance. She is much quicker and more creative with how she will avenge Jest. This ending also lets there be a possibility of another book.

This is just a oneshot Heartless fanfiction for all the readers who were ripped apart by the ending. I have written a different ending, where everyone lives happily ever after.
