I have decided to make a change of pace with a poem. This is a little
something devoted to one of the most powerful and feared of summon
entities of the Final Fantasy series, Odin, warrior of the dark.. I don't
own Odin, or the FF series for the standard formality and copyright
reasons.
The Ballad of Odin
When monsters and villains doth roam the land,
And threaten to consume all by their hand,
A summoner will then be forced to call
One of the mightiest eidolons of all.
For when the skies darken
And the moon shines high,
Quake, you demons;
Your end is nigh:
The shadow barely seen from afar
Spells annihilation from a star.
Two great horns and dark eyes red
When you see it, you'll soon know dread
Rise now, Odin, from your rest
And begin the task that you accomplish best.
With six-legged Sleipnir, your valiant steed
Charge the enemy with fearsome speed
Swinging your sword at point blank range
What happens then, nay Sayers believe is quite strange:
Time stands still save for Odin alone
Zanetsuken technique finds its mark home.
The stricken foe screams a horrible cry
When the attack strikes true, the enemy dies.
With abilities that can end a battle hardy,
such destructive power should not be used lightly.
If thou wouldst take the Dark Matter
In which Odin sleeps
Heed my warning
Lest you get more than just the creeps
If one of evil is recognized as his master,
Then you poor fool have wrought terrible disaster.
So guard the Dark Matter well
Lest the entire world goes straight to hell
Thus ends my poem,
I hope you enjoy it
This wasn't easy to write
For I'm not much of a poet.
I think I've just written the corniest thing in a long while. But if you like it though, then please leave a review. I'd appreciate it very much!
