CHRISTMAS…

Just a little christmas story. Nothing more really…

"Ssh, you're destroying everything!" Charlie whispered harshly. His little brother, Jamie, looked scared.

"He's so big." Jamie whispered back. His twin Cameron nodded.

"You're such babies." Suzie whispered. But her little sister Nicole held onto her tightly as well.

The five children were all gathered on the stairs. Around them it was dark, only a few christmas lights were shining. The living room was lit dimly. It was enough for them to see Santa Clause. Even though it was a yearly traditon for the kids to try to catch Santa, it was the first year there were actually able to.

"He seems so… slim to me." Charlie stated quietly.

"He's scary." Jamie whispered again.

"It's Santa, it's not scary." Suzie told her little siblings.

"I don't think it's Santa." Charlie whispered. He was the oldest and knew about Santa, or the lack of Santa. Only sometimes he though there really was a Santa Clause.

"Who else should it be?" Suzie asked. Charlie had an idee but kept quiet. His brothers and sister should still believe in everything like the Easterbunny, Santa Clause and their parents invented Little Birthday Man.

"I don't know, maybe one of his cousins." Charlie replied.

"Maybe it's true." Jamie said hopefully. "And Santa is not so scary!"

"SSSSHHH!" Charlie and Suzie said in unison but Santa didn't hear them anyway. He seemed to wait for something. He was running his hand over the framed pictures that showed the whole family. There were seven people plus a dog so there was quiet a lot of them. Most of them showed the kids but there were also two or three showing the happy parents. One at their wedding, one with their four best friends.

Monica giggled as she finished up in the kitchen. They played this game every year. It was their own little, kinda dirty tradition. Every year Chandler would dress up as Santa – for the kids. But for Monica as well. Many years ago she has admitted Santa turned her on. So Chandler had made sure to play Santa once a year. Even before the kids had been there.

Monica threw away the dish towel. Knowing her children were tucked up in their beds, she was looking forward to spend some time with Santa Chandler.

"Can we talk to him?" Jamie wanted to know.

"Of course not." Suzie told him. "He'd disappear." Jamie and Cameron stared at her amazed.

"I think we should go back to bed." Charlie suggested. As if to prove his point, little Nicole yawned.

"Yeah." Suzie nodded her head. The kids got up quitely and went to bed. Charlie stayed behind a little. He watched Santa again. Was it real? He wondered. He saw his mother walking into the living room. Both faces lit up. Charlie knew these smiles; only his parents smiled at each other like that. They walked closer and kissed. Charlie smiled and walked upstairs.

Maybe he would tell his siblings in the morning that he'd seen their mommy kissing Santa Claus.

                                               End

Very short, no plot just Christmas. I admit I wanted to write something with "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause last night" (does anyone know this song?). Anyway, I wish everybody a merry, merry Christmas and a very happy new year! And as a gift you could give me a nice little review!
