Tohru was lying on her bed starring at the yellow ribbon that Yuki had given her not to long ago for white day. But not matter how much she wanted to; she could never forget the look on Kyo's face the day that she had told him of what happened. *************FLASH BACK*************
Tohru and Kyo were walking to school and it was a beautiful spring day and Kyo couldn't help but smile as Tohru happily bounced about, enjoying the season's wonders.
"Spring is my favorite time of the year." She said smiling, breaking the not so awkward silence. She smiled and looked at him, "What about you?" Kyo put back on his upset mood and tried to cover his blush by looking away.
"A season's a season. They all have their place, so I don't have a favorite." He said a bit grumpily.
Tohru was confused a bit by his answer, "What do you mean?"
"Well, if we didn't have winter, there wouldn't be a spring. So even though I may not like the freezing cold winters, I decided to appreciate it, because without it the flowers wouldn't be able to bloom in the spring." He blushed even harder as she noticed him fidgeting with something in his pocket.
"what's that?" She asked a bit shyly. He fiddled with it a little longer and just about took it out when she smiled and said, "Never mind. You don't have to show me. It's your own business any way I'm just a little nosey." She smiled as she poked his nose and ran off in front of him a little, before he smiled and gave chase.
He knew he could catch her easily if he wanted to, but he decided to take it slow and enjoy her playful mood. When he finally caught her, he gently tackled her at her waist, pulling her to the ground with him as he ungracefully lost his balance and fell on top of her; both laughing the whole time.
When he pushed up of her, he looked into her eyes still letting a chuckle out, but when he met her gaze his laughter haulted and a loving look replaced the playful look in his eyes. And somehow he realized that that was the look in her eyes too. He didn't really know how she felt at that moment but he leaned down and kissed her anyways.
Her memory was a bit fuzzy of that moment but all she could remember how sweet and, surprisingly, gentle his kiss was. When he had finally broke the kiss he smiled at her gently, a look that was completely rare to Kyo, and rolled off of her and dug in to the pocket of his jeans, pulling out a small white box with a gold ribbon on it.
He stood and tossed the box on her stomach, "I was going to give it to you at the Hot Springs, but that Damned Yuki Beat me to it. Just know what that kiss," even though he tried to cover it up she could see the blush that covered his features, "and that ribbon, represent my feelings for you." He leaned down and planted one more, sweet little kiss on her lips, and walked away. **********END FLASH BACK*********
She smiled and blushed as she touched her lips. "And just know that when I wear this ribbon, it shows my feelings for you."
