Here is my second Christmas fic from the YGO section. I think I might have a few more idea's for this section *Shrugs*
This ones quite a lot... less dark then my last one O_o;;; lol. Yeah ^_^

Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games."

Yugi sat with his only friend, Anzu, while they listened to the school choir sing. Actually, the choir was currently quiet, as they waited for their next song to commence. Yugi leaned over to Anzu.
"I feel sorry of Olive," Yugi said quietly.
Anzu blinked, and looked at Yugi. "Olive? What are you talking about Yugi-chan?" She asked him.
"Olive. Olive the other reindeer," Yugi explained. He heard some muffled laughter behind him.
Anzu turned around angrily to see that Jonouchi and Honda were snickering behind them.
"What's so funny?" She demanded, crossing her arms.
"Olive..." Honda managed to wheeze out between his giggles.
"The other reindeer?" Jonouchi finished, and they laughed again.
"Why would you feel sorry for a song?" Honda asked, whipping a tear of laugher from his eye.
"They don't even say Olive in the song!" Jonouchi added on.
Yugi pouted, and Anzu sighed. "Just ignore them Yugi. They're just stupid you know that. Now, will you tell me why you feel sorry for Olive?" Anzu asked, smiling encouragingly at her friend.
"Well, in the song, he's known as 'the other reindeer'," Yugi explained slowly. "Which means that he wasn't actually part of a group of the reindeer himself, right?" Yugi asked.
Anzu nodded.
"So... he must've felt some sort of connection to Rudolf then, right? Because Rudolf wasn't allowed to play with the any of the other reindeer, right?"
Anzu nodded again. Both of them noticed the laughter behind them had died down to a minimum, yet neither of them paid any mind. The next song had started.
"Well, I think that..." Yugi trailed off for a moment, thinking on how to express his thoughts into words. "Well, if Olive felt like not part of the group, then he would try to pick Rudolf to become popular, right?"
Anzu nodded yet again. Yugi smiled slightly. "Maybe Olive just wanted to be Rudolf's friend, but didn't know how. And then Rudolf became popular, and then Olive was all alone," Yugi smiled.
Anzu nodded, and opened her mouth to say something, when they were both promptly hushed by the teacher. They sat back, and listened to the song the choir was singing now. It was Silent Night.
Jonouchi lay on his bed, one arm around his little sister who was curled against him, and one arm behind his head. He tried not to wince when he heard his mother and father screaming at each other again, but he couldn't help it when Shizuka curled against him tighter.
Yugi was right. About Olive. The more he thought about the song, the more Olive really was just another reindeer. And he began to notice more things about the song also.
It wasn't a happy ending after all.
They didn't like Rudolf for being Rudolf. They liked Rudolf for being a sleigh reindeer. They liked Rudolf because Santa liked Rudolf.
And even if they did like Rudolf for being Rudolf, they only began to acknowledge them after he saved the day.
If they did like him before that, they never showed it.
And Rudolf was to naïve to ever realize it.
He just hoped no one he knew would ever have to be acknowledged like that. Or that that would how he ever chose to like someone.

Hehe ^-^ And don't even bother saying that most little kids wouldn't come up with thoughts like those =P How old do you think I was when I was contemplating the song Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer. It sure wasn't recently!
