Saph: well, hi there! This is a new story idea I came up with one day. What if Yusuke ran away one day? What would happen? Who would be affected? And most of all, what would Keiko's reaction be? Angst, I think. I'm actually not sure what angst means, but from what I perceived, sadness. Someone tell me! Well, I hope you like it. Oh, and I made up the song, yes indeed. Oh yeah, it's a ONE-SHOT!!! REVIEW OR DIE!

He gently stroked her hair, then sighing sadly, he left a small piece of paper in her hands.
"Good-bye, Keiko...I'll miss you..." He whispered, a pained sentence. Then he turned and left. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Keiko woke up the next morning, sensing something was wrong. Very wrong. She sat up quickly, and clutched her hands. In her right hand, there was a crumpled piece of paper. Confused, Keiko carefully opened it up. In Yusuke's familiar handwriting was a letter.
"Dear Keiko,
It's Yusuke. Obviously. Well, I don't know what to say. I guess I'm just sick and tired of the world. Tired of having to beat everyone up cause I'm Urameshi, tired of having to put on a badass air, tired of it all. I just had to run away. I'm sorry, but I just had to. I just couldn't take anymore of this. Please forgive me.
I guess that's I have to say. This is goodbye, Keiko. Don't forget me..cause I'll always remember you.
Love, Yusuke"
Keiko stared blankly at the paper, her mind numb, feeling absolutely nothing. Yusuke was....gone? No, he couldn't be. Yusuke couldn't be gone! He just couldn't be. Tears sprung to her eyes, stinging them. She clutched the letter, and fell to her knees, tears falling (you know that thing in anime when they like run and cry and the tears like fly off and sparkle? Yeah, that's what is happening) from her eyes, like jewels. She slammed her fist into the floor, tears streaming down her face.
"Yusuke! You can't be gone! You can't leave me! You can't! YUSUKE!!!!" she screamed, throwing her head back. Tears fell faster than ever from her face, as she curled into a ball, still clutching the letter.
"Yusuke.." she whispered, " How could you? Yusuke...don't you know I need you? Because I love you Yusuke....how could you leave me?" and then she broke down into tears, her body heaving as she tried to let her sorrow out through her silent sobs. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Somewhere, in a place overlooking Tokyo (where that is, I don't know...^Sweatdrops^) Yusuke stood. The wind blew past him, and he took one last look at Tokyo.
"Good-bye, Keiko...." He said, the word carrying on the wind, and turned his back, and walked away, never to come back. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Saph(me): ARGH!
