Please be kind as this is my first fic which I wrote last year when I was only 12,and up until the time I time I turned 13 I didn't have an ounce of writing skills,(Please note that this was originally meant for the lounge) You know the drill I don't own carter or Abby or the rest of the er gang .Otherwise S9 wouldn't of happened the way it did So pleazze review as any critism good or bad would help
Cant sleep said carter frustrated .Maybe it was because he had watched Austin powers 2 only a couple of hours before and that dammed song had kept him awake all night (what do you get when you fall in love ) had made him think of abbey. He thought about calling her to see if everything was alright but then again what sain person would call somebody at 3am he tried to get asleep but couldn't .A heck he thought as he picked up his phone and dialled in her phone number
*** ring ,ring ,ring ;who the hell would be calling me at 3am in moring abbey thought to herself hello this is abbey Lockhart speaking; hey abbey its carter" hey carter" she said sounding half asleep couldn,t get asleep no wonder he couldn't
get asleep he sounded like he had drank a whole jug of dark coffee abbey thought to her tired self got to go now my shift starts in 2 hours goodnight carter abbey said as she put the phone down as she fell back asleep. Get up now sleepy head Bart Simpson shouted abbey hated that alarm clock but she liked it her brother had got it her as a christmas present a couple of years ago as soon as she realised the time 4.15 she got dressed as fast as she could and grabbed her keys bag purse she ran to the subway as quickly as possible just in time to miss the el when she got off she was greeted with a familar face

find abbey 'some woman's looking for who says she is abbeys mom oh no the last thing 'she needed right now was her mom showing up Carter thought to himself Maggie had
spotted him and started to walk over to him 'hey dr carter do you know she's just started a double shift so could you wait in chairs 'could you talk to abbey and tell her everything's ok ' Will try 'how could he let this happen he was in love with abbey all these years and she wasn't even his friend and she hadn't talked to him for about a month now except for this morning when they were at work (and even then they only talked when necessary) She was so tired she had forgotten all the things that had happened in the past 2 months it was like as if they were friends again he really missed their chats on the phone that lasted hours Into the morning their evenings in doc maggoos he then realised that he missed his best friend And soul mate as he thought about the past 2 months just then on the radio that song came on don't go breaking my heart

its ok go help chen in exam 2 4 hours later abbey looked at her watch it was 8.30 she was on her break now just then that song came on witch made her think of carter and the events of the past 2 months that song was don't go breaking my heart
